Borough Yard Sale

The Borough Yard Sale is planned for Thursday, Friday & Saturday, April 20, 21 & 22, 2017 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. There is no charge to participate and the entire Borough (Sherwood Forest and the Village Center Area) may participate. Borough businesses are invited to participate as well. The event will be advertised.

York New Salem Lions Club

Easter Flowers Sale and Children's Egg Hunt

The York New Salem Lions Club will hold their Annual Easter Flowers Sale from Wednesday thru Saturday, April 12-15, 2017, beginning 9 a.m. daily. This year they will be at a new location, at the Twin Pine Farm Country Store, 1428 Seven Valleys Road, York. A variety of flowers, including mums, tulips, hyacinths, lilies, hydrangeas and planters, will be available. Proceeds from the flower sale support the Children's Egg Hunt, to be held for children up to age 10, at the New Salem Elementary School on Saturday, April 15, beginning at 10 a.m. sharp. Lions Spring Chicken Barbeque & Bake Sale

New Salem – The York New Salem Lions Club will hold their Annual Spring Chicken Barbeque from 10 a.m. until sold out on Saturday, April 22, 2017, on the lot next to Stambaugh Plumbing on North Main Street, York New Salem. The take-out meal includes a half chicken and baked potato for $7.00. Proceeds support community projects. Questions, call 717-792-1207.

Penn Waste ROUTES CANCELLED FOR WEDNESDAY 3/15/2017


All Penn Waste routes have been cancelled for Wednesday, 3/15/17. They will accept double the normal volume of material on your next regularly scheduled collection day.
